Carry-on requirements for international flights

The conditions for carry-on items on international flights are determined by each airline. Generally, in the case of codeshare flights, the rules are determined either by the airline's strict conditions or by restrictions on the aircraft used.

Items that cannot be carried on board or items that require special attention will be discussed later, but carry-on baggage is basically regulated by weight, size, and number of items.

For example, in the case of ANA, the weight of carry-on baggage is within 10 kg. The size requirement is that the total of three sides must be within 115cm (55cm x 40cm x 25cm). Please note that the baggage size includes the handles, handles, and casters of the bag.
Additionally, you may only bring one item other than personal items. Personal items include handbags, cameras, umbrellas, etc., but do not include souvenirs purchased at the airport.

All alcohol-containing products, including alcohol disinfectants, are not allowed on board flights departing from China.

Baggage you need to be careful about

Liquids require the most attention. There are global standard rules for bringing liquids on international flights. [Liquids in containers exceeding 100ml (g)] cannot be carried on board. In addition, in order to bring liquids onto the plane as hand luggage, liquid containers must be placed in a transparent resealable plastic bag of 1L or less. The bag must have a resealable zipper; just a transparent bag with the opening closed is not acceptable. As a guideline, you can use a 20cm x 20cm zippered bag with no gusset. All containers can be carried on board as long as they are placed in a bag and can be closed.
